Gloryrose Dy Metilla is an Architect and a Heritage professional. In 2018, she finished the Design Summerschool from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning in Tongji University , Shanghai, China and then her Masters in Urban and Cultural Heritage from the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne, Australia with an Australia Awards Scholarship. She graduated her Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the University of the Philippines in Mindanao in 2009 wherein she garnered the Best Thesis Award and shortly after she won the Red Point National Thesis Award, an award given to exemplary undergraduate Architecture thesis in the Philippines.
Arch. Mary Catherine DiazPartner
Arch. Mary Catherine Diaz is an architect and a budding urban designer. She finished her Bachelors of Science in Architecture at the University of the Philippines Mindanao in 2009. She gained numerous design and build experience of residential, commercial, hospitality and medical projects, including some building projects owned by the famous boxer Manny Pacquiao while working in D.N. Guevarra Architects & Associates. Years later, she became a campus architect of UP Mindanao where she co-designed and handled the Davao-UP Sports Complex in 2015. She went to build her own design firm, CAT ARC Design Studio, before joining the SWITO Design Architects. Aside from being a widely experienced practicing architect, she is also actively teaching architectural design in the University of Mindanao. She has launched the “Architect for the Barrio” and Barriotecture platforms to promote architecture to the grassroots and promote rural development. She is currently continuing her Masters in Urban Design at the University of Sto. Tomas.
